Pronounced: "Tam - ber"

The quality of a sound produced by a particular voice or musical instrument — the distinguishing factor between different sounds even when they're at the same frequency.

And that's exactly who we are too.

At Timbre Soundlab, we're a team of musicians, sound designers, music producers and audio engineers who truly love what we do. We believe sound can completely transform the way a story feels — whether it's a short film, a powerful ad, a web series, or anything in between.

Our work is all about creating music and audio that brings visuals to life — custom soundtracks, rich textures, and clean, detailed mixes that feel just right for the story. We're not a big agency — we're a small, focused team that puts care, creativity, and quality into every project.

Our approach is simple: narrative-driven sound design and sonic chronology, along with music that is emotionally resonant.

Origin

Our Story

Some sounds are meant to come together

We’re two musicians who first met as college kids, making noise (the good kind) at college festivals, rehearsing in tiny rooms, and discovering what music meant to us — not just as a passion, but as a language. After graduating from Mithibai in 2020 — right into the silence of a global lockdown — life took us on different paths, but not far.

It took a few years, but each sound has a funny way of finding its harmony. Now, after years of creating separately, we’ve come together again — not just as friends or former bandmates, but as creative partners. Timbre Soundlab is where our two perspectives blend: one rooted in rhythm, one in texture.

We don’t aim to just “deliver audio.” We build sound that speaks — with tone, with intention, with Timbre.

Classical background — tabla at 6, guitar at 7. Diploma in Music Production & Engineering. Full-time musician and sound engineer.
